- What is an E-Bike?
- An electric bike (E-Bike) is a motorized bicycle with an integrated electric motor used to assist power and speed. The electric motor adds power automatically while pedaling with different levels of assistance. They also come with a throttle that allows them to be ridden without pedaling, although doing this drains the battery at a faster rate. E-Bikes allow people with various fitness levels to ride across different terrains and hills with ease, as compared to a normal bicycle.
- Do I need to be an experienced biker to ride E-Bikes?
- Although the old saying “You never forget how to ride a bike” holds true, E-Bikes do add some variables that people may not expect. E-Bikes generally are heavier than normal bicycles, and the assistance of the electric motor allows people to ride at higher speeds than they may be accustomed to.
- Usually, almost everyone who can ride a bike can also comfortably ride an E-Bike. If you haven’t been on a bike in a while, we will help you get reacquainted to riding before going on a tour or renting. E-Bikes also allow people of all fitness levels to bike through terrains that would be extremely difficult, even for experienced bikers.
- Our minimum age to ride is 14 years old
- Generally, if you don't feel confident in your ability to ride a normal bike, it may not be best for you to ride an e-bike
- Refunds + cancellations
- We reserve the right to cancel your rental and refund you in the event that either the renter or the weather is unsuitable for the experience.
- Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours in advance in order for a full refund to be issued.

- Where do we rent them from and where can I ride? Can we ride on trails?
- We are renting from our storefront location at 906 Manitou Ave #102, Manitou Springs, CO 80829
- Most, if not all, of our rentals go out and ride in the Garden of the Gods. There is a bike lane on the road that goes throughout the whole park. You can also ride around and explore the city of Manitou Springs
- We do not allow our rental bikes to be ridden on unpaved trails. Generally, E-Bikes Class 2 or over are not allowed on most of the trails in the area. To ensure your safety we ask that you ride in the bike lanes on the roads
- What do we need to bring for rental?
- We will provide the e-bikes, which come equipped with: a helmet, small storage bag on the rear rack, a lock in case you want to get off the bikes, a phone mount to help you navigate, a map of the Garden of the Gods.
- It is advised to bring some water and sunglasses (the wind on the bikes can irritate your eyes)
